How should we feed 10 billion people in the future ?
While in the rich countries of the world about 30% of the food is thrown away, in other countries die up to 30% of the people starve. Also some people in the rich countries are starving, but the food is thrown away anyway. If you do not have money, you have to suffer a little more each day. The wealthy defend their system stubbornly, there are even those who want to let starve people who refuse aid by simply closing their borders. At best, the incoming poor are put into internment camps where they often vegetate for years.
So how should we solve these problems? The hungry starve themselves to death and we make electricity from the superfluous food? These are solutions that have been told to me seriously.
Well, I have different ideas.
Canteens could solve all our problems.
Canteens are to be built in settlements, city districts, rows of houses, villages and so on. There people can eat and drink together without having to pay anything, this is paid by the community. Everyone can come and eat. There will be fixed mealtimes but everyone can get a meal out of the mealtime. Basically everyone is assigned a canteen, but they can basically eat and drink wherever they want. There will be made no questions about from where you come. There will be a specific menu, if it will not be enough for everyone will be cooked more or provide individual menus. The food will be from high quality to drink there are healthy drinks. Therefore, I produced a own study. In this survey, this idea was very appreciate by 97% of respondents. Not only would this result in very high efficiency in food use, but it would also strengthen social coexistence. According to studies, these common meals solve many problems by itself, and the violence in the group tends to zero.
The Rajasthan's Snake Dancers are very happy to living as a group
The pictures below shows the Rajasthan's Snake Dancers which living in India, the Kalbelia tribe live with charm, song and dance, they are very happy because they live together in a group.
They are nomads and they are poor, yet they enjoy their life to the fullest. How it seems to me, much more than the people of the Western world who live alone behind closed doors and also closed hearts, often in fear of the neighbours.
