Who want to sell his products or opinions, of course want to have a platform for propaganda. Therefore, there should be special channels for this.

Because the way in which advertising is spread today is not only intrusive and annoying, but also very questionable from a health and legal point of view.

How would you like it if I rang your doorbell every hour trying to tell you something about my oh so great product? If I would standing in your kitchen in the morning touting the same thing? If I would than sit in the car on the way to work and tell the same thing again?

You would be right to call the police and a psychologist or psychiatrist would probably refer me to a clinic.

However, that is only one side. The other side is the way one try to tell you what it takes to be a great, attractive, and desirable person. Great hair, skin, teeth, body, car, apartment, clothes... that's why I find this ad from a local hardware store so refreshing. Funny the sign found in Jerusalem or the statement on a railway station.

The type of advertising that tries to target supposed weaknesses scares you without you noticing it, your brain reacts immediately, your rational thinking is switched off. All of this advertising must be controlled by licensed psychiatrists, changed and/or banned altogether.

It is precisely with this type of advertising that our animal instincts, mainly fears and inferiority complexes, are encouraged and kept alive.

It must not be that the natural errors in our brain are used to sell us something that we rationally do not need at all and would buy if this advertising did not exist. Basically, this corresponds to the criminal offense of coercion.

Advertising should be removed from radio and TV broadcasts altogether and relegated to channels that only broadcast advertising. Instead, broadcasters should be able to do without advertising. Just like in Germany, there should be state television again, for which everyone pays, but then is no longer bothered by trade and industry.

The killer argument is always the fear of losing one's job: "No advertising, no mass production, no jobs". Yes, no exponential increases in profits, no unnecessary mass production, no surface warming, but plenty of jobs.

All companies should get used to only selling what the customer asks for and that's it, everything else is and remains harassment and coercion.
